Daily Itinerary
Upon your arrival at Kigali Airport, you will be greeted and driven to the Gisozi Genocide Memorial, which is located nearby. Here, you can visit the moving and emotional memorial dedicated to one million people who lost their lives in the 1994 genocide in Rwanda. After that, guests can proceed to Gorilla Mountain View Lodge, ready for dinner.
Depart after an early breakfast to Park Headquarters for the gorilla trekking briefing. The group (maximum 8 people), travel to the forest edge and commence trekking through the thick forest to see these magnificent creatures. The walking is quite steep but not overly strenuous. After spending a magical hour with the gorillas return to your lodge for lunch. This afternoon drive back to Kigali.
Departure transfer to the airport and end of safari.
